Nritya Padakhep is more than a dance company, it is a movement to rediscover the soul of the performing arts. Founded by Priyanjana Roy Chowdhury, a multidisciplinary artist and visionary, Nritya Padakhep bridges India’s timeless traditions with the rhythm of today’s world.

Our mission is to revive dance as it was meant to be: a language of the spirit, a medium of storytelling that shapes values, awakens compassion, and restores humanity. Drawing from the depth of Indian Classical dance, the power of modern movement, and the energy of cinematic expression, we create productions that transcend form, where every step tells a story, and every story leaves a mark.

Each performance is a step (padakhep) toward a greater purpose to make dance respected, purposeful, and transformative once again. We retell the stories our ancestors lived, reimagined for a new generation that will carry the world forward. Every production carries a moral, a message, and a heartbeat, reminding us that art can still change the world.
